D, thanks for the encouragement. I think it’s going ok. I am still a little more sensitive than usual but it’s not hugely significant so I am going to give it a few months. The up/down definitely isn’t worse than without it so I am taking it as a good sign for now. I hope your trip home was good. We have to catch up!

Yeah, the body experiments aren’t that fun. But the pill really did help me with me cramps…so there was that!

Be brave and do try to stick it out for the first couple of months. If things are already getting better, I’d consider that a good sign. It was all down hill with me, all the time.

You are so right. I need to stop using my roommate’s scale or any scale for that matter.

Also, thank you. I have a hard time keeping my self-image anywhere close to reality. It helps to know I’m not the only one.

First all, I think you look great in the second photo! And if anything BETTER than you do in the first (not that you don’t look good in the first one too…you know?).

But yes we all have body image issues. When I was in highschool I weighed 103 pounds and was sad because when I was in middle school i was 98 pounds. I haven’t owned a scale since then…Life is better without a scale.
