Jen, that’s really interesting, I suppose it’s just my perspective on how a lot of people I know have been treating their relationship status. The whole social media empire has made all of it pretty darn confusing in my opinion.

I’m 10 years older than you so maybe I don’t “get” facebook — but I always thought relationship status meant that you either did or did not wish to be asked out. I never thought it was a definition.

I think that, societally speaking, being either married, single or “in a relationship” is a characteristic of a person — not a label. It’s an adjective not a noun.

Who am I? i am pretty sure you know. I’ll dance on a table given the chance. I rock to 80s music like most people crave cheese (eh?), I took a folk dancing class in college, I’ve watched the sunset over Melbourne and I’ve seen the sunrise over Vineyard Sound in Cape Cod…

Why didn’t we watch the sunrise over the Taj Mahal? Rookie mistake, Rhea!
